World Championships Report

Louise Brownsey and Reece Buck have returned from Baku, Azerbaijan from the Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling World Championships. Louise competed in the Senior Ladies Trampoline event and also competed in the Synchronised Trampoline event with double Olympic medallist, Bryony Page! Reece competed in the 17-21 Men’s DMT Event!

Louise takes Bronze in the All-Around with GBR.

Firstly, Louise made her Senior World Championships debut which is a massive achievement in itself so we’d like congratulate Louise on such a milestone! Within the Individual Event, she achieved a fantastic 28th place! Sadly just missed out on Semi-Finals but gained valueable competition experience.

Secondly, Louise then competed with Bryony in the synchronised Trampoline Event. They performed a fantastic first routine but sadly struggled on the second routine which concluded early. They finished in 18th place.

Lastly, Louise also competed in the All-Around event, a relatively new event in the Trampoline world. Within this event, Louise competed once again in the Synchronised Trampoline event with Bryony. This time, they completed a lovely routine which scored the highest female synchronised routine score of the All-Around event! Their routine helped Great Britain secure a Bronze Medal!

Congratulations to Louise and the whole GBR Senior Team!

Reece makes his mark on GBR debut.

The week after the Senior World Championships was the World Age Group Championships. This is where we saw Reece Buck in action. This was Reece’s GBR debut, so we’d like to congratulate Reece on such a milestone!

Reece finished 17th in an extremely strong field of DMT gymnasts. He performed well on his first pass but had a slight fall. He then went on to perform a fantastic second pass achieving a new personal best score to finish in 17th place!

Congratulations to Reece and the whole of the GBR WAGC Team!
